6-HOUR MINI-SEMINAR:
CHALLENGING THE MYTHS
Presented by: Ed and Patricia (Pat) Gilbert
(http://www.gilbertk9.com)
The combination of Ed and Pat’s backgrounds provide a unique and broad range perspective in regard to purebred dog judging, handling, grooming and exhibition. (Visit their website for information on their backgrounds and past Seminars, along with comments from attendees.) The goal of Gilberts’ K-9 Educational Seminars is to provide comprehensive and conclusive information on Canine structure and movement. This information is to provide for the promotion of Showing and Breeding Purebred Dogs for Type and Function, based on breed specific facts. Motorhomes
We have reached our limit for RV reservations.
No more reservations will be accepted.
RULES APPLYING TO MOTOR HOME PARKING AT NATIONAL SPECIALTIES
To insure the safety and well being of all motor home users and their guests, the Chihuahua Club of America has adopted the following motor home parking rules.
1. The number of parking locations is extremely limited. Motor home parking will be by reservation and advance payment only on a first-come first-served basis. Reservations will not be accepted if postmarked before August 15. Reservations postmarked on or after that date will be accepted until the maximum limit is reached. Postmark date will be used to determine priority when reservations exceed capacity. TELEPHONE RESERVATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED
2. Motor home parking locations will be assigned as you arrive at the hotel. Groups wishing to park next to each other MUST arrive at the same time. Every effort will be made to accommodate special requests. No areas will be saved. There will be NO UNRESERVED PARKING.
3. Reservations will be confirmed before the Show Entry closing date.
4. Access to the parking lot will be from 4:00 PM on Wednesday before the show. Follow the signs to RV registration upon arrival to receive your assigned parking location.
5. Escort or tow vehicles will not be allowed to park in the motor home parking area. These vehicles must be parked in the hotel parking lot.
6. There are no electric, water or sewer hook-ups available.
7. All garbage should be disposed of properly. Garbage receptacles will be available in the parking area
8. Each exhibitor is responsible for keeping his assigned area clean during his stay. If your assigned area is not clean when you leave, the CCA Board may revoke your motor home parking privileges. The motor home parking area will be inspected at the conclusion of the show.
9. Absolutely no discharge of gray or black wastewater at the parking sight will be tolerated. Anyone discharging wastewater will be severely dealt with by the CCA board.
Questions
Ways & Means
This year’s Ways & Means Fundraiser for Juniors in Chicago will
be State Baskets. The money raised will go to the Junior
Scholarship fund. Two years ago we had a lot of particiption and
everyone seemed to really enjoy putting their baskets together.
This year please be sure everything assembled fits into your basket.
You can use baskets, crates or anything you wish - BUT IT
MUST FIT WITHIN THE CONTAINER!
Even if there is no club in your state, you can put together a
basket from individuals and help support the Juniors and the
Club.
2008 Basket Winner was from Kentucky, donated by
Terri Barnes and won by Michael & Patricia Holzkopf.
We will again be selling the Chihuahua Throws, with new chihuahuas on them, and having a 50/50 raffle.
See you in Chicago !!!
